Hyundai recently announced the pricing of the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 electric car, and it appears to be cheaper than the Ioniq 5 despite being based on the same platform.

Although the number (6) in the name of IONIQ 6 may indicate that it is more expensive than IONIQ 5, its price is actually cheaper, as Hyundai officially launched its new electric car in the United States, with a starting price of $42. 715 to $57,215. Slightly less than the Ioniq 5.
The standard 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 SE comes with a smaller 53 kWh battery, and this model comes with a single electric motor that generates 149 horsepower and a range of approximately 386 kilometers. And all this at a price of $42,715.
Then we have the Hyundai Ioniq 6 SE RWD Long Range with the longest range in the range at around 580 km. This version comes with 18-inch wheels, an electric motor that generates 225 horsepower, and a 77.4 kWh battery.
As for the IONIQ 6 SEL, it's equipped with more options, including 20-inch wheels, a driving range of about 490 km, and retails for $48,815.
Then we have the Hyundai Ioniq 6 Limited at $53,715 with 20-inch wheels and nearly 300 miles of range.
And if you want extra power, you can get an all-wheel drive powered by 320-hp SEL or SE models for an additional $3,500.
Also note that selecting AWD (4WD) on the SE drops the range to 508km, while adding an AWD configuration on the Limited or SEL drops the range to around 434km.
Hyundai will reportedly start rolling out the 2023 Ioniq 6 in US showrooms by next spring, but the Standard Range edition will be slightly delayed until the summer.
