The 2021 Tiguan, the best-selling car in the world among Volkswagen cars, has undergone extensive modifications, including the exterior and cabin design, while being equipped with the latest technologies, comfort and safety systems.
It is scheduled that new Tiguan cars will arrive in the Middle East, starting from July 7 of this year, and will be available at prices starting from 23,416 US dollars, equivalent to 87,810 Saudi riyals, in addition to value-added tax.
The modifications to the exterior included a new front grille design and fully LED headlights with the new Volkswagen logo. The design of the front and rear bumpers has also been developed to become more prominent and complement the 4Motion four-wheel drive system. LED daytime running lights and taillights come with integrated turn indicators.
The 2021 Tiguan was also equipped with larger, light-alloy wheels with a new design, ranging in size from 17 to 20 inches. The new Tiguan succeeded in bridging the gap between a love of adventure and driving in the city, thanks to its outstanding performance and the ability to provide the car with accessories such as bicycle carriers and rowing boats.
The Tiguan has been distinguished by its elegance since its launch, and the 2021 car is available in ten colors; Pure White, Reflex Silver metallic, Midnight Black, Shade Blue metallic, Dolphin Gray metallic, Orano Gray, Ginger Brown metallic, Moonstone Grey, Kindus Red metallic, Lapis Blue metallic.
The updated SUV is offered in four models in the Middle East:
- Trendline model with a 1.4 liter engine.
- Life model with 1.4 or 2 liter engine.
- Elegance model with a 2-liter engine.
- R-Line model with a 2-liter engine.
As for the interior of the new Tiguan 2021, it features a modern design with a multi-function touch steering wheel, and an 8-inch screen for the infotainment system with a touch screen, with the possibility of providing the car with a 9.2-inch screen as an optional equipment with the Discover Pro Navigation system.
The smartphone can be connected wired or wirelessly via the Wireless App-Connect application for compatible devices, and allows the driver to use smartphone applications directly on the car screen. Several phones can be connected to the system with the activation of the advanced voice recognition function, while the car comes equipped with a luxurious Harman/Kardon sound system with 8 meticulously designed speakers for entertainment while driving.
For more distinction and elegance, the German car is equipped with multi-colored ambient lighting that includes 30 different colors, with a new design for the air conditioning control system and automatic climate control throughout the car. The panoramic glass roof allows natural light to enter the cabin to enjoy a very comfortable and spacious atmosphere.
The new 2021 Tiguan can be ordered with the luxury R-Line Black package, which includes 19-inch Valencia black alloy wheels, black mirror caps with black decorative inserts and black-painted exterior design elements.
